Jacque: 9 month update

My little princess is nine months! I blink and she is a month older! I think I need to face this reality that each month the number goes up and in a few, Jacque won’t be my little baby angel princess anymore. Meh! You will be my baby forever!

A lot has changed this month..

Milestones

Sitting. 

Jacque can sit herself up from laying down position to sitting. She can sit for hours during playtime. She discovers different sitting position, like, one leg front, other leg at the back; two legs front or two legs at the back. 

Crawling.

When you take a toy away from her, Jacque tends to go after the toy. 

Standing.

She is able to hold on to the couch or playpen’s bar to stand herself up. 

Cruising.

She walks around with the support of the playpen’s bar. Mommy also holds both her hands and walks around the room together or Jacque pushes the push-walker.. 

Pincer grasp.

She can pick up toys using her index and thumb finger. 

Babbling.

Jacque’s definitely a chatter. She babbles non stop. She can say mama, mommy, dada, papa, hi, bye, vovo... 

• She loves loves loves outdoors! 

• Carseat Upgraded into Convertible..

• She is an effective comedian, like her father. She blows bubbles and make funny sounds. 

• Jacque already understands “No.” When mommy says “No,” for example, when she crawls too far, she looks at me and stops. She is so smart. 

Separation anxiety

It is at peak. She is not happy when mommy or lola leaves the room. When my mother comes home from work, she wails asking for my mother’s attention.

Eat 

We can now offer her favorite soft-cooked veggies cut into small pieces, bits of everything.. 

New this month

Eggs

Sleep

She still sleeps through the night. Same, 10-12 hours of sleep at night. She naps 2-3 times day, 45 mins to 3 hours. 

My Favourite

I melt when Jacque does not want to come with anyone but Mama.

I love how much you love Mama. And everyone loves you baby! We each want to hold you, make you smile and laugh until you squirm. 

Definitely a lot has changed this month! 

Jacque is in constant motion, very active! She has taken interaction into this extremely level of fun! Life is so beautiful with you in it. We love you baby!
