Audrina's 2-month-old update

Where does the time go?

I’ve been wanted to post this update few weeks ago but I was just pretty occupied.

Anyway!

Audrina is two months old! She is growing so fast! She no longer fit her teeny tiny onesies and had to be bumped up to 0-3 month-old clothes. Size Audrina gained 2.2 lbs! She is now 9.9 lbs. I remember me being paranoid and concerned about her gains when I was still pregnant. But right now I think she'd be bigger than her sister Jacque.

She moves more and more each day. She is able to hold her head more steadily and longer. She coos, grunts and squeals. She responds by cooing when you try talk to her. She likes to smile! She is starting to interact!

Audrina is similar to her sister Jacque at 2 months old yet with some differences. She eats, poops and sleeps. Lol all babies do. I mean, she’s similar to her sister, in a way that, they’re very good babies. Audrina sleeps on her own when she is really tired. She’s so good!

I love seeing Audrina’s personality start to develop. She is smiling a lot. She’s a happy baby like her sister.. Eat She is doing great with nursing. We tried feeding her formula and she likes it too.

Sleep She only wakes up once now, around 4am.. We are still swaddling her and still sleeps at her bassinet, sometimes with mama and sissy.. :p She still wakes up anywhere from 6-8am.. Her naps are good too. She usually sleeps all day, 1-2 hour stretch. She naps at her bassinet or her swing.. I will try to put her in the crib soon during naps.. She soothes herself by the use of pacifier or sometimes she sucks her hand.

As a little a sister...... She loves watching her big sister. She smiles at her. She recognizes faces now for sure, 'coz she smiles when she looks at you. Here’s the picture of them last Easter..

We finally made Jacque gets off the boob! She did it on her own though. She just did not want to go there one day after she got sick of gastro..

Jacque made an Easter card! Her first card, the lady from the daycare helped her paint and that was her hand!

Play We started bringing her to the Ifloat Baby Spa and she loved it! Here are some of her pictures..

Transitioning to two kids has been a bit difficult yet rewarding at the same time..

I love seeing the girls interacting with each other, how Jacque loves to give kisses to her little sissy all the time; how Jacque shows little things (offering pacifier, shusshing when Audrina cries..) that she cares about her little sister and so cute how you see sparks in their eyes when they look at each other. They love each other already.. I’m so excited to see what’s to come in month 3, but for now I’m going to soak up every second of her because the time really is just flying by!
