Last December 9 of 2017, we welcomed Jacque to the Christian world. It should be one of the major events in Jacque’s life. To be honest, all I really want for her is to have FAITH in something greater than her. I cannot speak for David. I am just thankful because he respects our beliefs, values and traditions.

I was baptized as a Catholic. Baptism, is a a sacred tradition to Filipino, Catholics. I do not go to mass every Sunday, but I believe in God.....

I hope, I and David could be a good example to you, Jacque.. We maybe not as close to perfect, but deep down I know, we have good hearts..

We all had a blast, and were a little hopped up on sugar afterward. Even though Jacque may not have known exactly what was going on, I think she knew the day was all about her and felt pretty special.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who came to the baptism. We appreciate all of the support and of course, the love, wish you all the best! Thank you for making our little girls night special!

Dear Jacque,

We desire to baptize you, for you to have FAITH. You’ve repented and accepted Jesus as your saviour.

In the Bible in Acts chapter two, the first people who made a church for Jesus started by getting baptized in Jesus’ name! It’s now nearly 2,000 years later, and people are added to church the same way. Here’s the scripture:

“Peter replied, ‘Each of you must turn from your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’ Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church–about three thousand in all.” Acts 2:38, 41

As I’ve told you before, there’s nothing you could ever do that could make me love you less. It’s the same with God. He will love you no matter what. As you grow up, you will learn more of Him. Whatever you decide, all I really wish is for you to treat mommy and daddy, everyone with respect and kindness. I also hope you find your purpose in life, find goodness in every way and to find happiness.

Mommy and Daddy love you more than the world. You’ve made our lives so special, because you are so incredibly special.
