Happy Half-Year Old, Baby!

You're half a year old, baby!

6 months ago this angel arrived and made me a Momma. I feel so blessed to call this sweet angel mine.

Tried some sweet potato purées for the first time at 6 months old, today!

...............is growing, changing, learning, exploring, becoming even smarter, more loveable, and fun!!! Can you believe that she's already half a year old?! I love every minute of being a part of this, of everything! She grows so quick and its scaring me. Later on, her babbles or squeals will turn into words. I am nervous when the time comes that she could ask me questions and I do not know how to answer them. Oh my! However, I am going to try my very best to let go of the worry that my baby will grow quicker than my heart can bare. I am going to enjoy every moment as I have been, encouraging her milestones, playing with her different games, teaching her more every day, and when those days come when I have to set aside more and more clothes or shoes that no longer fit her, I will thank God for my daughter who is growing healthily, beautiful and smart. And the more intelligent she becomes, the more she learns about life, and that she is alive and well.

You are your mother's dream. We love every part of you!

Here are some beautiful things about you this 6th month..

You pay more attention. You smile all day long. I think you like singing, cause you can babble and make lovely sounds while watching your favourite nursery rhymes. You also look when we call your name. When we smile at you, you smile back at us. You sit up all on your own without assistance, you have managed to live 6 months without 1 single injury. You had your first cold this month, you are still nursing (you had your first veggie - sweet potato today!), you can't keep your hands and toys out of your mouth. You only cry when you are tired, hungry or don’t feel good, you move and roll all over the place, you turn and twist in all directions. You can sleep on your side, you love to bounce. You love to hold mommy's hand while you sleep. You are an observer. You are super calm. You are the greatest gift God has given to mommy and daddy and I thank Him every single day for you.

Jacque, you are everything to mommy and daddy, we love you!
