Bunnykins 3-piece Children's dinner set, from Royal Doulton Collection, Jacque received them as baptism gift. The set comes with plate, bowl and cup. I figured that we use the bowl for her first solid food. (Mommy will make sure to treasure them, so Jacque can pass them onto her future children - which should be 30 more years later, haha!)

For her first solid food, she had oatmeal cereals (Gerber, organic). Her pediatrician recommended to give them during morning and evening for two weeks, then we can proceed to vegetables, fruits, later on; and carefully evaluate for any reactions.
The first time, she only liked it a bit, as it was all new to her. Mena and I prepared to give her two teaspoon of cereals mixed with a little bit of formula milk, (as I had no pumped-milk available, and super excited for her first meal, I insisted to just give her formula-milk). We made sure the cereal is not lumpy, just perfectly soft. She finished almost half of it though. After about 30 minutes, she pooped! Haha! So funny! You will see how your baby poop would change! 💩
The evening, I served her just 1 teaspoon of cereal, mixed with milk, and she finished the whole thing. She ate better than the first time. I am really proud of her!
She’s now officially eating solid food! Another big milestone for her! She’s growing too fast! Plus, she is almost 2 lbs bigger on her normal age! I am so happy! Mommy’s doing a great, great, great job!

I hope her ikea high chair and baby bullet blender come soon! So excited to make different kinds of food for her!

Anyway! Let’s see her improvement tomorrow! Maybe she will eat more!
How about your little one’s baby first food experience? How did it go? :)
