Food: WHEN SHOULD I INTRODUCE FOOD

Your little one’s first foods are a big milestone in their life!
Here's to tell he is ready:
Your baby is about 6 months old
Your baby can sit in a chair without support
Your baby has good control of her head and can turn away to indicate refusal
KEEP IN MIND
A baby under 6 months is not necessarily ready for foods just because she nurses more often for several days.
It is recommended to wait 'til babies had reached a certain age before intoducing foods more likely to cause allergies (egg whites, fish, products containing peanuts).
Once your baby starts eating foods, continue breastfeeding as often as he wants. If formula-fed, give him atleast 750 ml (25 oz) a day.
NEW FOOD
Introduce one new food at a time, wait 2 or 3 days before adding something new, for easy to detect signs of discomfort or allergies. Also, it will be easier to identify the food that causes it.
If your baby refuses a new food for a few days, try introducing it again later. You may have to present a food number times before your baby accepts it. This is how she learns new flavours.
QUANTITY AND FREQUENCY
At the start, your baby has to adapt; he will probably eat a few small spoonfuls of food once or more during the day. Little by little, the amount of food and the number of meals and snacks will increase. For example, you could give him two or three meals a day. Depending on how much he eats, you could add snacks between meals.

Vegetables and fruits - 2-3 months(freezer), 2-3 days (refrigerator)
Meat, poultry, fish - 1-2 months (freezer),1-2 days (refrigerator)
Meat with vegetables -1-2 months (freezer), 1-2 days (refrigerator)
FIRST MEALS
Choose a time when your baby is in a good mood. Your baby can have his milk before or after foods. If you wish, you can give him some of his milk before and the rest after.
NOTE:
If your baby is over 6 months and still refuses to eat after several attempt, consult his pediatrician.
NEVER GIVE HONEY TO A CHILD BEFORE AGE 1 even as an ingredient in food recipes or cooking. Both pasteurized and unpateurized honey can cause a serious form of food poisoning known as infant botulism
Baby FOOD
HOMEMADE BABY FOOD is relative to provides excellent nutritional value. When purchasing food, select the freshest fruits and vegetables as possible. Canned vegetables, meat and fish are not good choices if they contain salt.
Warming BABY FOOD
MICROWAVE PRECAUTIONS
Stir it well once it is warm.
Wait around 30 seconds, before serving the purée.
